sacrificing ratio = old ratio -new ratio

old ratio = A:B = 3:2

new ratio = A:B:C = 4:3:2

s/r of A = 3/5 - 4/9 =  7/45

S/R of B = 2/5 - 3/9 = 3/45

Answer: The gain or sacrifice will be:  letter D ( both a & c )

               A sacrificed 6/30, B sacrificed 1/30

               C gained  1/30, D gained 2/10

Explanation:

A, B and C are partners sharing profits in the ratio of 3: 2: 1. D is admitted. The new profit sharing ratio among A, B, C and D will be 3 : 3: 2: 2. The gain or sacrifice will be ______.

Old ratio of A : B : C = 3:2:1

new ratio of A : B : C : D = 3:3:2:2

Sacrificing ratio of A = 3/6 - 3/10 = 6/30

Sacrificing ratio of B = 2/6 - 3/10 = 1/30

                               C = 1/6 - 2/10 = 1/30

                               D = 1/30
