Question= A and B are the complementary angles given that angle angle A is equal to 1/7th of angle B. Calculate the value of angle B in degrees

Solution⬇️

Angle A and Angle B are complementary angle

↪ Angle A + Angle B= 90°

Define x:

Let Angle B= x

Angle A= 1/7 x

Solve x:

x + 1/7x = 90°

8/7 x= 90

8x= 630

Find the angle:

Angle B=x= 78.75°

Angle A= 1/7x = 1/7 (78.75)= 11.25°

Answer= Angle A= 11.25° and Angle B= 78.75°
