Hii Dear,

◆ Answer -

A used tractor for 15 days

◆ Explaination -

Let x be no of days A used tractor for. Then B used it for 23-x days.

A's tractor usage is -

A = x × 12

A = 12x

B's tractor usage is -

B = (23-x) × 15

B = 345 - 15x

Contribution to payment would be directly proportional to their usage -

A / B = 3000 / 2000

12x / (345-15x) = 3/2

24x = 1035 - 45x

69x = 1035

x = 1035 / 69

x = 15 days

Therefore, A used tractor for 15 days.

Thanks dear...
