Proper Question :-

A,B, and C are partners sharing ratio and loss in ratio 5:4:1 D a new partner is admitted . If D aquires 1/5 from A. Then calculate new profit sharing ratio of A, B,C

Answer :-

Old ratio of partners - 5:4:1

new partner is admitted D

1/5 aquires from A.

\sf \: share \: of \: a =  \frac{5}{10} -  \frac{1}{5}  =  \frac{5}{10} -  \frac{1 \times 2}{5 \times 2}  =  \frac{5 - 2}{10}  =  \frac{3}{10}

\sf \: new \: share \: of \: d = share \: of \: a  -  \frac{3}{10}

 =  >  \frac{5}{10} -  \frac{3}{10} =  \frac{2}{10}

so, there is no change in ratio of other partners expect the partners A and D

\sf \: new \: share \: of \: a =  \frac{3}{10}

\sf \:  \: share \: of \: b =  \frac{4}{10}

\sf \: share \: of \: c =   \frac{1}{10}

\sf \: new \: share \: of \: d = \frac{2}{10}

\bold</strong><strong>\</strong><strong>red</strong><strong>{ \: new \: profit \: sharing \: ratio = 3:4:1:2}
