Answer:

A=12

B=18

total work =lcm=36

A one day work =3

same of B=2

3+2+3+2+3+2+3+2+3+2+3+2+3+2=35

14 days taken

remaining work =36-35=1

A will do the work now therefore A will complete the remains work in 1/3 days therefore

14+1/3 is the answer

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the total work be 1

Work done in two days = 1/12 + 1/18 = 3/36 + 2/36 = 5/36

In fourteen days 7*5/36 = 35/36 work will be done.

Remaining work = 1 - 35/36 = 1/36.

On fifteenth day A will work and complete in 1/3 day.

So total days = 14 and 1/3 days.
