Answer:

We will solve this question using the LCM technique.

A+B=8A+B=8 Days; B+C=12B+C=12 Days; A+B+C=6A+B+C=6 Days.

So, let the TOTAL WORK be 2424 Parts.

Note: 24 is the LCM of 8, 12 & 6.

So, A+BA+B complete 33 parts per day.

B+CB+C complete 22 parts per day.

A+B+CA+B+C complete 44 parts per day.

Now, 2(A+B+C)−(A+B)−(B+C)=(A+C)2(A+B+C)−(A+B)−(B+C)=(A+C)

=>(A+C)=2(4)−3−2=>(A+C)=2(4)−3−2

=>(A+C)=3=>(A+C)=3 parts per day.

A & C will take 8 days to complete
