Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

In these type of questions assume total work = 1

Work done by A and B in 8 days = 1

Work done by A and B in 1 day = 1/8

Similarly

Work done by B and C in 1 day = 1/12

Work done by A,B and C  in 1 day = 1/6

Let Work completed by A,B and C respectively in 1 day = x , y , z respectively

Now form equations

x + y = 1/8

y + z = 1/12

x + y + z = 1/6

now subtract 1st equation from the 3rd

z = 1/6 - 1/8

z = (4-3)/24

z = 1/24

y = 1/12 - 1/24

y = 1/24

x = 1/8 - 1/24

x = 1/12

Thus work completed by a and c in one day = 1/12 + 1/24 = 1/8

THUS A and C can complete work in 8 days!

Answer:

A and C will take 8 days to finish it.....hope u will u understand it

Step-by-step explanation:

A+B=8 Days; B+C=12 Days; A+B+C=6 Days.

So, let the TOTAL WORK be 24 Parts.

Note: 24 is the LCM of 8, 12 & 6.

So, A+B complete 3 parts per day.

B+C complete 2 parts per day.

A+B+C complete 4 parts per day.

Now, 2(A+B+C)−(A+B)−(B+C)=(A+C)

=>(A+C)=2(4)−3−2

=>(A+C)=3 parts per day.

A & C will take 8 days to complete
