Step-by-step explanation:

A B = 12 days

A C = 15 days

Both A and B can do that work in 12 days

Then A can do that in 6 ( half of 12) A = 6

Both A and C can do that in 15 days

Then A can do that in 7 1/2 days ( half of 15 ) A = 7 1/2

A = 6 + 7 1/2 = 13 1/2

A can do that work in 13 and half days ( 13 1/2 )

Answer:

no of days A and B do the work = 12

no. of days A and C do the work = 15

no. of days B and C do the work = 10

Work done by A and B in one day = 1/12

Work done by A and C in one day = 1/15

Work done by B and C in one day = 1/10

Adding all 2 (A+B+C) in one day = 1/12+1/15+1/10

= 5+4+6/60

=15/60

=1/4

A's one day work = (A+B+C) 1days - (B+C) 1days.

= 1/4 - 1/10

= 3/20
