Let us assume that A, B, and C are completing aa, bb, and cc task everday and total task to be completed is 'ww'. So as per given problem statement:
3a+3b=w3a+3b=w ………(1
4b+4c=w4b+4c=w ………(2
4c+4a=w4c+4a=w ………(3
Now, we have to find out the no of days C will take to complete the 'ww' task. So, from above equations:
4∗((1/3)∗(w−3/4∗(w−4c)))+4c=w4∗((1/3)∗(w−3/4∗(w−4c)))+4c=w
(1/3)∗(w/4+3c)+c=w/4(1/3)∗(w/4+3c)+c=w/4
w/12+2c=w/4w/12+2c=w/4
2c=w/4−w/122c=w/4−w/12
2c=w/62c=w/6
12c=w12c=w
c=w/12c=w/12
It means that C complete 1/12 of task in one day, will take 12 days to complete the ‘w’ task.
