Step-by-step explanation:

time taken by (A+B)to finish the work=18days

(A+B)'s 1 days work=1/18 (i)

Time taken by (B+C)to finish the work=24days

(B+C)'s 1 days work=1/24 (ii)

Time taken by (C+A)to finish the work=36days

(C+A)'s 1 days work=1/36 (iii)

Adding i,iiand iii we have

2(A+B+C)'s 1 days work=(1/18+1/24+1/36)

=(4+3+2/72)

=9/72 = 1/8

=>(A+B+C)'s 1 day's work=1/2×1/8 =1/16

A,B,C together can finish the work in 16 days

Now,A's 1 days work

={(A+B+C)'s 1 days work}-{(B+C)'s 1 days work

=1/16-1/24

=3-2/48

=1/48

Hence A alone can do the work in 48 days

={(A+B+C)'s 1 days work}-{(C+A)'s 1 days work}

={1\16-1/36)=9-4/144=5/144

Hence c alone can finish the work in 144 days
