Step-by-step explanation:

A and B can do work in 18 days, B and C in 30 days, and A and C in 22.5 days. In how many days can A, B, and C individually for the work?

Let us consider the total work as 90(This is the LCM of 18, 20 and 22.5).

Now, A and B conrtibute 5W/day i.e. 90/18 = 5 —— Eq1

Similarly, B and C contribute 3W/day i.e. 90/30 =3 —— Eq2

A and C contribute 4W/day i.e. 90/22.5 = 4 —— Eq3

So, combining all the three, (2A+2B+2C) contribute 12W/day which says that A,B and C combinely do 6W/day .—— Eq4

Subtracting equations 1, 2 and 3 from 4 give us the number of days A, B and C can finish the total work individually.

Thus A can finish the work in 90/3 i.e 30 days

B can finish the work in 90/2 i.e 45 days

C can finish the work in 90/1 i.e 90 days.

Thankyou
