Answer:

Given

A and B can finish the work = 18 days

Formula Used

Work = time × Efficiency

Calculation

Efficiency of A : B = 2 : 1

Total work = (A + B) × 18 = 3 × 18 = 54

So, A can do work alone in days = 54/2 = 27 days

∴ The work is to be done by A alone in 27 days
