A and B can do a piece of work in 6 daya and 4 days respectively.A started the work ,worked at it for 2 days and then was joned by B.Find the total time taken to complete the work.

1 day work of b=1/4
1 day work of a and b=5/12
2 day work of a=1/3
work left = 2/3
a and b can finish it in = 2/3÷5/12
=8/5 days
total time taken = 2+8/5
=18/5 days
=3.6 days
