Step-by-step explanation:

Time taken by (A+B) to finish the work = 6 days

Time taken by (B+C) to finish the work= 4 days

Time taken by (C+A) to finish the work = 8 days

: . (A+B)'s 1 days work = 1/6

(B+C)'s 1 days work = 1/4

(C+A)'s 1 days work = 1/8

Adding , we get

2(A+B+C) 's 1 days work = [ 1/6+1/4+1/8] =4+6+3/24=13/2

=> (A+B+C)'s 1 days work =(1/2*13/24) =13/48

=> A,B,C together can finish the work in 13/48 days

Now,A's 1 days

={(A+B+C)'s 1 days work} -{(B+C)'s 1 days work } =( 13/48-1/4) =1/48 days

Hence A can finish the work in 48 days .

B's 1 days work

={(A+B+C )'s 1 days work}-{(C+A)'s 1 days work}

=(13/48 -1/8) =7/48

Hence B can finish the work in 7/48 days

C's 1 days work

= {( A+B+C)'s 1 days work} -{(A+B )'s 1 days work }

=(13/48-1/6)=5/48

Hence ,c alone can finish the work in 5/48 days
