First we have got to find the LCM of 30 days and 40 days
LCM = 120
Now A = 120/30 = 4
B = 120/40 = 3
A+ B = 3 + 4 = 7
Now lets divide the money in half
$210/2 = $ 105
A worked for 15 days then B joined.
A will receive the first $105.
Then after 15 days both A and B work.
So rest amount left is $105 ,it has to be divided between A and B
Efficiency of A = 4/7
So according to that money has to be divided
4/7 x 105 = $60
Total share of A = $105 + $60 = $165
Hope This Helps You!
