A and B can do a work in 8 days ,B and C can do same work in 12 days , A ,B ,C can together ginish the work in 6 days . so A and C together will do it in?

A+ b = 8days  

B +C =12 days

A+ b+ C =6days  

A = 1/6 - 1/12 = 12-6/12*6 = 6/12*6= 1/12

C = 1/6 - 1/8 = 8-6/8*6 = 2/48 = 1/24

A+C = 1/12 +1/24 = 24+12/ 24*12 =36/24*12= 1/8= 8days.
