Answer: IN \:  36  \: DAYS  \:

Solution

If both A and B can complete the work In 24 days than there 1 day work will be 1/24

Now they do work for 20 days

There 20days work will be 20/24

remaining work -1/6

let be can do whole work in X days than his 1 day work =1/x

Now accoridng to question work is completed in 26 days this means B alone do work for 6 days. Hence:-

  \huge\frac{1}{x}  \times 6 =  \frac{1}{6}

 \huge \: x = 6 \times 6 = 36

Answer - 36 days

Additional information

  • If one total time to complete work is given than flip the time to obtain one day work
