A and C together will make paintings = \frac{60}{14}= 4\frac{2}{7}  days

Step-by-step explanation:

A and B make paintings = 6 days

B and C make paintings = 10 days

number of days A,B,C can make paintings = 4 days

taking LCM of 6,10,4 we get LCM = 60

i.e number of total units = 60

then

efficiency  of A and B = \frac{60}{6}= 10

efficiency  of B and C = \frac{60}{10}= 6

efficiency  of A ,  B and C= \frac{60}{4}= 15

now ,

A + B+ C = 15

10 + C= 15

C = 5

A+B +C = 15

A+ 6 = 15

A = 9

So, efficiency of  A and C is 14

then

number of days A and C together will make paintings = \frac{60}{14}= 4\frac{2}{7} days

hence ,  A and C together will make paintings = \frac{60}{14}= 4\frac{2}{7}  days
