A and B can polish the floors of a building in 25 days. A alone can do 1/3 of this job in 15 days. In how many days can B alone polish the floors of the building?

B = ?
LET 1ST PERSON BE x AND 2ND PERSON BE y
X AND Y TOGETHER CAN FINISH A WORK IN 25 DAYS.
ONE DAY WORK OF X AND Y = 1/25
ONE Day WORK OF X

WORK..........DAYS
1/3--------------- 15
1 ------------------ x
( cross multiplication )
x = 45
one day work of x & y = 1/25
x + y = 1/25
1/45+ y = 1/25

at last after taking 1/45 to the other side and after taking LCM

y = 4/225 = 56 1/4 days
