Work done by both a and b =1/4 (in one day)

Work done by a =1/12 (work done in one day)

1/4–1/12 LCM =12

1/6=1/1/6 (6 multiplies mathematical operation)

Ans =6 daysWork done by both a and b =1/4 (in one day)
