Given that A and B can do a work in 10 days.
A + B = 1/10 ------------- (1)
Given that B and C can do a work in 15 days.
B + C = 15 ---------- (2)
Given that C and A can do a work in 12 days.
C + A = 12 ----------- (3)
On Adding (1),(2),(3), we get
2(A + B + C) = 1/10 + 1/15 + 1/12
= 15/60
= 1/4
A + B + C 's 1 - day work = 1/8.
Now,
A's 1 - day work = 1/8 - 1/15
= 7/120
= ~17.
A's work = 17 days.
B's 1-day work = 1/8 - 1/12
= 1/24.
B's work = 24 days.
C's 1-day work = 1/8 - 1/10
= 1/40
C's work = 40 days.
Hop this helps!
