a and b can do a work in 15 days means 1/a+1/b=1/15...(1) b and c can do same work in 10 days means 1/b+1/c=1/10...(2) a and c can do same work in 12 days means 1/a+1/c=1/12 ...(3)1/time taken by three persons together =1/a+1/b+1/c . Add equations (1),(2) and (3),we get 2/a+2/b+2/c=1/10+1/15+1/12=>
