Solution :-

Let us assume that, Initially A has INR a and B has INR b .

Case 1) :- when A gives INR 80 to B :-

→ A left amount = INR (a - 80)

→ B new amount = INR (b + 80)

A/q,

→ B new amount = 1.5 * (A left amount)

→ (b + 80) = 1.5(a - 80)

→ b + 80 = 1.5a - 120

→ 1.5a - b = 80 + 120

→ 1.5a - b = 200 ----------- Eqn.(1)

Case 2) :- when B gives INR 80 to A :-

→ B left amount = INR (b - 80)

→ A new amount = INR (a + 80)

A/q,

→ A new amount = 2 * (B left amount)

→ (a + 80) = 2(b - 80)

→ a + 80 = 2b - 160

→ 2b - a = 80 + 160

→ 2b - a = 240 ----------- Eqn.(2)

Multiply Eqn.(1) by 2 and adds result in Eqn.(2),

→ (2b - a) + 2(1.5a - b) = 240 + 2 * 200

→ 2b - 2b + 3a - a = 240 + 400

→ 2a = 640

→ a = INR 320

putting value of a in Eqn.(2),

→ 2b - 320 = 240

→ 2b = 240 + 320

→ 2b = 560

→ b = INR 280

Hence, The total amount with A and B is INR 320 and INR 280 respectively .
