let A have x coins, thus B has 460-x coins.(as A+B=460).
3/4*x=2/5*(460-x)
3x/4=(920-2x)/5
15x=3680-8x
23x=3680
x=160
therefore number of coins A has is 160 and B has 300
now find the average number of coins. it is 460/2=230
A needs 70 coins to reach average and b needs to donate 70 coins to reach to average
this way B needs to give A 70 coins to make the number of coins between them equal.

hope this helps you!! :)
