  • income= expenditures + savings

Let the monthly income of A and B be 5k and 6k.

Let the monthly expenditures of A and B be 3k and 4k.

Income of B = expenditures of B + savings of B

6k= 4k+1600

2k = 1600

k = 800

Monthly income of B = 6k = 6×800 = 4800
