Step-by-step explanation:

Let money with them also be A and B, so

2(A - 100) = B + 100

2A - 200 = B + 100

2A - B = 100.....(1)

Now, we have

3(B - 40) = A + 40

3B - 120 = A + 40

A - 3B = -160.....(2)

Multiplying (2) by 2 and subtracting from (1), we get

2A - B - 2A + 6B = 100 + 320

5B = 420

B = 84

So, 2A-84= 100

2A = 184

A=92

Therefore, A and B has 92 and 84 money respectively.

Let No. of Coins of A = a

And No. of Coins of B = b

No. of coins of A = 144

No. of coins of B = 88

Therefore, A has 56 coins more than B.
