Step-by-step explanation:

Given

. A and B started a business in the partnership by investing in the ratio of 7:9. After 3 months A withdraw 2 3 of of its investment  and after 4 months from the beginning B withdraw 33 1 3 % of its investment. If the total earned profit is Rs. 10201/- at the end of 9 months, find the share of each in the profit?

Let capital be A : B

                 7 x 3 and 9 x 3

                   21 a        27 b

So capital invested by A in 9 months will be

21 a x 3 + 7 a x 6 = 105 a

Total capital of B invested in 9 months will be

27 a x 4 + 18 a x 5 = 198 a

According to question we get

(105 a + 198 a) = 10201

303 a = Rs 10201

a = 10201 / 303

Now share of A will be

105 x 10201 / 303

   = Rs 3535

Share of B will be

198 x 10201 / 303

= Rs 6666
