Qᴜᴇsᴛɪᴏɴ :-

Lets First understand The question. It has been said that, A and B started a business with capital of ₹12 lakhs and ₹24 lakhs respectively. Now it is given That, A receives some Monthly salary (Extra) for running the business . And at the end of the year the receive ₹1,80,000 each .we have to find what was the monthly salary of A ?

Sᴏʟᴜᴛɪᴏɴ :-

Let us Assume That, Monthly Salary of A is Rs.X.

So,

in Total He received = 12*x = Rs.12x (Extra Sum)

And,

Rest Profit Was Distributed in the ratio of their Investment :- 12lakh : 24lakh = 1 : 2 .

Let A & B received y & 2y As a profit Now.

So,

we can say That :-

→ A : B = (12x + y) : (2y) = 180000 : 180000

→ A : B = (12x + y) : (2y) = 1 : 1

→ 12x + y = 2y

→ 2y - y = 12x

→ y = 12x.

Therefore,,

A total Profit = y + 12x = 12x + 12x = 24x .

Hence,

24x --------- Rs.1,80,000

→ x = (1,80,000)/24

→ x = Rs.7500 (Ans.)

A Monthly Salary of A is Rs.7500.
