A and B together can do a piece of work in 20 days B and c together can do it in 15 days C and a together can do it in 12 days .how long will they take to finish the work working altogether ?how long would it take to do the same work?

• Time Taken by ( A + B ) to finish the work = 20 days.
• Time Taken by ( B+ C) to finish the work = 15 days.
• Time Taken by ( C + A ) to finish the Work = 12 days.

Hence , ( A + B )'s 1 day's work = 1/20
( B + C )'s 1 day's work = 1/15
( C + A)'s 1 day's work = 1/12

Adding we get ;-

2 ( A + B + C)'s 1 day's Work =

 \frac{1}{20} + \frac{1}{15} + \frac{1}{12} = \frac{3 + 4 + 5}{60} = \frac{12}{60} = \frac{1}{5}

Now ,
( A + B + C )'s 1 day's work =

( 1/2 × 1/5) = 1/10 days.

So , they will do the work together in 10 days.
