A+B = 35 days
in one day = 1 ÷ 35
A alone = 60 days
1 day = 1÷60
then B = ( 1÷35) - (1÷60)
= 12 - 7 ÷ 420
= 5 ÷ 420
=1 ÷ 84
thus B= 84 days

Step-by-step explanation:

A+B piece a work =35 days

in one day =1/35

A alone can do the same work =60 days

1 day = 1/60

then B alone can do the work = 1/35-1/60

17-7/420=5/420

5/420 then divide it then you will came =1/84

1/84 reciprocal it then it will came 84

Answer is 84 days
