A and B together can do a piece of work in 30 days. A worked for 16 days, B finished the remaining work alone in 44 days. In how many days shall B finish the whole work alone?

Let both work (A+B) = 30days

(16A + 44B )= combined work

Now ,. 30A+30B = 16A+44B

A:B = 1:1 from above equ.

Total work = 30×(1+1)=60 →since “30(A+B)”

B alone can do it in = 60/1= 60 days

Answer : 60days
