A and B together can do a piece of work in 6 days. if A's one day work is one and a half times the one day's work of B, find in how many days each alone can finish the work?​

Let A completes the work in x days alone

Let B completes the work in y days

A's one day work=1/x

B's one day work=1/y

(A+B)'s one day work =1/x +1/y

A & B completes the work in 3/2

So 1/x + 1/y=1/6-------(1)

A's one day work=3/2 times of B' s one day work

1/x=3/2 x 1/y=3/2y

Substituting 1/x=3/2y in eqn (1)

30=2y

Y=15

And similarly substitute y value we get x=10
