In 1 day, B can finish = 1/x part of work

IN 1 day, A can finish = 1/20 part of work

In 1 day both A and B together can do 1/12 part of work

So according to problem,
1/x + 1/20 =1/12
or, 1/x = 1/12 - 1/20 = (5-3)/60
or, 1/x = 2/60 =1/30
So, x = 30
