A and B together can finish a piece of work in 12 days, If A alone can fisnsh thq same work in 20 days in how many dadys B alone can finish it?

Let B finishes the work in x days
In 1 day, B can finish = 1/x part of work
________________
A finishes the work in 20 days..
IN 1 day, A can finish = 1/20 part of work
_________________
A and B together finishes a work in 12 days
In 1 day both A and B together can do 1/12 part of work
______________________
So according to problem,

1/x + 1/20 =1/12

or, 1/x = 1/12 - 1/20 = (5-3)/60

or, 1/x = 2/60 =1/30

So, x = 30
___________________
Thus B alone finishes the work in 30 days (answer)
