Answer:

30 days.

Step-by-step explanation:

Amount of work A can do in 1 day = 1/20

Amount of work B can do in 1 day = 1/B (Let's say)

Amount of work both can do in 1 day = 1/12 = 1/20 + 1/B

1/B + 1/20 = 1/12 - 1/20 = 5/60 - 3/60 = 2/60 = 1/30

B can complete the work in 30 days on his own.
