Given :- A and B together invested Rs. 18000 in a business. The ratio of their investments was 4:5. At the end of the year, a total profit of Rs. 2700 was generated.

To Find :- Find their profits. ?

Answer :-

we know that,

  • Ratio of profit = Ratio of investment .

since A and B invest in the ratio of 4 : 5.

then,

→ Profit of A : Profit of B = 4 : 5 .

therefore,

→ Profit of A = (4/9) * 2700 = Rs.1200

Profit of B = (5/9) * 2700 = Rs.1500
