A can finish in 10 days.
since we know 1 day work = 1/total days
so A's 1 day work = 1/10
similarly B's 1 day work = 1/15
now (A+B)'s 1 day work = (1/10 + 1/15)
LCM of 10 and 15 is 30.
therefore,
1/10 + 1/15 = (3 + 2)/30 = 5/30 = 1/6
they finish 1/6 part of the work in 1 day
