Hey mate

Your answer :---

'A' can do a work in 9 days.
A's one day work = 1/9

'B' can do a work in 12 days
B's one day work = 1/12

Now,
(A and B) 's one day work = 1/9+1/12 = 4+3/36 = 7/36

Hence A and B can do a work in 36/7 = 5+1/7 days ans.
