1. solid- its shape and volume definite. it is hard and its can't flow.

liquid- its volume is definite but shape is not definite. its can flow. eg. oil water

gas- a gas neither posses a definite volume nor a definite shape.

2.there are three states of matter. solid,liquid,and gas. eg of solid is table, chair eg of liquid is oil water.

3.liquid- definite volume shape is not definite. its can flow.

gas- a gas neither posses a definite volume nor a definite shape.

4. because liquid can flow it shape is definite.
