(1.) Evaporate means to change from a liquid or solid state into vapor (like fog, mist, or steam). It can be used in a passive way, as in The water evaporated overnight, or an active way, as in The sun evaporates the water on the surface. The process of evaporating is called evaporation.
(2.)▪️ The major difference between Fog and Mist is that fog is much dense and thicker as compared to mist.
▪️The difference is only in their location and density. The density of fog is more as compared to mist, thus it lasts longer.
▪️Fog lasts for a long time whereas mist lasts for a short period of time.
(3.) When the temperature falls below the freezing point, i.e. below 0°C, water vapour present on various surfaces like leaves, rocks or grass freezes into crystals of ice known as frost.
It occurs on cold winter nights.
(4.) Frontal rain is found where warm air meets cold at the cold and warm fronts in a depression.
(5.) About 71 percent of the Earth's surface is water-covered.
(6.) Waves are generally caused by the action of winds on the surface of ocean water. Winds cause the particles of the surface water of the ocean to be pushed down. The water particles again rise above the surface. This continuous up and down motion is passed on to other surface particles and is known as wave.
