1) Yes, bread is an important part of Goan life. We know this because Goanese important festivals can never be celebrated without bol and sweet bread. Bolinhas have to be prepared during Christmas and other festivals. The mothers used to prepare sandwiches on the occasion of their daughter's engagement.

2) He compares the raindrops with the new coins because the raindrops help him to grow and harvest the crops and it will also help Lencho to get more money which in turn enriches his lifestyle. ... So to get more money, he should harvest the crops correctly

3) The sudden shower in the form of the dust of snow changed the poet's mood. The poet's mood changed from sad to happy. He felt refreshed and wanted to enjoy the rest of the day.

B.

1) Herriot tempted to keep Tricki as a permanent guest because: When Tricki was convalescing Mrs. Pumphrey began sending dozens of eggs and bottles of brandy and wine to build up his strength. All these were not necessary for Tricki, so the doctor and his staff enjoyed them.

2) Hari Singh wanted to work for Anil but Anil had no money to pay him regularly. Anil had no regular income and used to write for magazines. Anil asked if he could cook, and Hari Singh lied that he knew how to cook. Hari Singh cooked the food so terribly that it had to be thrown away to the stray dogs.

3) BHOLI REFUSE TO MARRY THE PERSON BECAUSE HE IS MUCH OLDER THAN HER AND THEN SHE GOT HE EVEN ASKING FOR DOWRY . SO REFUSES TO MARRY HIM .
