a. point c is the highest point all the ball's energy is the gravitational potential energy. the ball does not have kinetic energy because it is not moving at this point.

b. rolling ball will end up stationery at the point of a bottom, the hill, point of minimum potential energy. reason is that as it rolls down words under the influence of gravity, friction produced by its motion transfers energy in the form of hoft of the surroundings with an attendant increase in entropy.

c. at the top of the channels, total mechanical energy of the balls is in the form of potential energy. now as the balls roll down they come into motion. this motion shows that balls now possesses kinetic energy too.
