Step-by-step explanation:

a/b=1/2

so b=2a

3(a-2a)

So 3(-a)=1

= -3a=1

= a=-1/3

so b=2a

b = 2(-1/3)

b= -2/3

put value in equation (above in image)

= 3(value of a= -1/3 - value of b = -2/3)

= 1
