Step-by-step explanation:

a+b=10 --1

a-b=06. --2 (-b and b will be cuted)

________

2a=16

a=16/2

a=8

put the value of the a in eq.1

a+b=10

8+b=10

b=10-8

b=2

The above mentioned sum is done by elimination method
