Hi friend!!

a+b = 10 and ab = 16

→ a²-ab+b²

→ {a²+b²}-ab

→ {a²+b²+2ab-2ab} - ab

→ (a+b)² - 2ab - ab

→ 10²-3ab

→ 100 - 3(16)

→ 100 - 48

→ 52

Hope it helps..

a^2 - ab + b^2
=a^2 - ab + b^2 + 2ab - 2ab
= a^2 +2ab +b^2 - 3ab
= (a+b) ^2 -3ab
= (10)^2 - 3×16
=100 - 48= 52.
