Hi, this problem will require two steps.

If we expand left hand side we get $a+2\sqrt{ab} +b+a$.

Now, we compare to right hand side

$2a+b+2\sqrt{ab} =2\sqrt{ab} +b$

We can observe that $2\sqrt{ab} +b$ will be eliminated.

Therefore, $2a=0$

Therefore, a is 0.

Now we substitute a=0 into equation.

We have $(\sqrt{b} )^2=b$, now it is true that b≥0.

The solution is a=0, b≥0.
