Hi, this problem will require two steps.

If we expand left hand side we get a+2\sqrt{ab} +b+a.

Now, we compare to right hand side

2a+b+2\sqrt{ab} =2\sqrt{ab} +b

We can observe that 2\sqrt{ab} +b will be eliminated.

Therefore, 2a=0

Therefore, a is 0.

Now we substitute a=0 into equation.

We have (\sqrt{b} )^2=b, now it is true that b≥0.

The solution is a=0, b≥0.
