(a - b)² = a² + 2ab + b²

Identity : (x - y)² = x² - 2xy + y²

Here, x = a, y = b

→ a² - 2ab + b² = a² + 2ab + b²

→ - 2ab = 2ab

→ 2ab + 2ab = 0

→ 4ab = 0

→ ab = 0/4

→ ab = 0

 {a }^{2}  + b {}^{2}  - 2ab =  {a}^{2} +  {b}^{2}   + 2ab
cancel \:  {a}^{2}  +  {b}^{2} on \: both \: side
=> Cancel 2on both sides

=> 2ab=0

=> ab=0
