Solution :-

  • a + b = 2
  • b + c = 4
  • c + a = 6

Adding all the three equations

⇒ a + b + b + c + c + a = 2 + 4 + 6

⇒ 2a + 2b + 2c = 12

⇒ 2(a + b + c) = 12

⇒ a + b + c = 12/2 = 6

⇒ a + b + c = 6

Substituting b + c value in the above equation

⇒ a + 4 = 6

⇒ a = 6 - 4 = 2

Substituting c + a value

⇒ 6 + b = 6

⇒ b = 6 - 6 = 0

Substituting a + b value

⇒ 2 + c = 6

⇒ c = 6 - 2 = 4

Therefore the values of a,b,c are 2,0,4 respectively.
