This is an easy trick -for all numbers whose sum is 0 or 1 i.e a+b=1 and there would be infinite values of a and b for which there sum is 1 or 0.

Only in three cases,
(a + b)³ = (a + b)²
These three cases are:-
1) First case:-
If, a = 0 and b = 0,
Then, (0 + 0)³ = (0 + 0)²
0 = 0
(a + b)³ = (a + b)² Proved.
2) Second case:-
If, a = 0 and b = 1,
Then, (0 + 1)³ = (0 + 1)²
1 = 1
(a + b)³ = (a + b)² Proved.
3) Third case:-
If, a = 1 and b = 0,
Then, (1 + 0)³ = (1 + 0)²
1 = 1
(a + b)³ = (a + b)² Proved.
(a + b)³ = (a + b)²
These three cases are:-
1) First case:-
If, a = 0 and b = 0,
Then, (0 + 0)³ = (0 + 0)²
0 = 0
(a + b)³ = (a + b)² Proved.
2) Second case:-
If, a = 0 and b = 1,
Then, (0 + 1)³ = (0 + 1)²
1 = 1
(a + b)³ = (a + b)² Proved.
3) Third case:-
If, a = 1 and b = 0,
Then, (1 + 0)³ = (1 + 0)²
1 = 1
(a + b)³ = (a + b)² Proved.
