a=5-b

substituting the value a in EQ (ii)

2a-b=6

2(5-b)-b=6

10-2b-b=6

10-3b=6

-3b=6-10

-3b=-4

b=-4/

a=5-b

substituting the value a in EQ (ii)

2a-b=6

2(5-b)-b=6

10-2b-b=6

10-3b=6

-3b=6-10

-3b=-4

b=-4/-3

b=4/3

a=5-4/3

a=11/3
