Answer:

A+b =√5

A-b =√3

A=√5-b

put value of A in Equation 2

(√5-b)-b=√3

√5-2b=√3

√5-√3=2b

√2=2b

√2/2 = b

A= √5-(√2-2)

A=√5-√2+2

A=√3+2

A²+b²

=(√3+2)²+(√2/2)²

=(3+4)+(0.5)

=7+0.5

=7.5
